If your editing screen (in pages, posts, sermons, etc.) is missing editing components or information that was currently published, your browser may need to be reset to work with the recent update. Begin by clearing cookies and cache in your browser settings. Instructions for major web browsers are provided below. 


You may want to begin by performing a "hard refresh." This will clear the browser cache and force the browser to load the most recent version of the page you are viewing.


Important: Clearing all cookies and site data stored by the web browser may sign you out of websites and remove offline web content


Chrome

Hard refresh: 

  1. Windows users: hold down Ctrl and then press F5 on your keyboard
  2. Mac users: hold down Cmd and Shift and then press R on your keyboard

Clearing cookies and site data: once you have navigated to the "Clear Browsing Data" page (see instructions here), please:

  1. Make sure to uncheck any boxes that you don't want to clear
  2. Make sure to check the boxes titled "Cookies and other site plugin data" and "Cached images and files" 
  3. Click the "clear browsing data" button.


Firefox

Hard refresh: 

  1. For Windows users: hold down Ctrl and then press F5 on your keyboard
  2. Mac users: hold down ? Cmd and ? Shift and then press R on your keyboard

Clearing cookies and site data: once you have navigated to "Cookies and Data" section (see instructions here), please: 

  1. Make sure to check both boxes, "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content"
  2. Click the "Clear" button


Microsoft Edge (Windows): 


Hard refresh: 

  1. Hold down Ctrl and then press F5 on your keyboard

Clearing cookies and site data: once you have navigated to "Privacy and Services" page (see instructions here), please: 

  1. Click "Choose what to clear" under the "Clear browsing data" section
  2. Make sure to select "All time" under the drop down for "Time range"
  3. Make sure the boxes for "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" are checked 
  4. Click "Clear now"


Safari

Hard refresh: 

  1. Go to Safari > Empty Cache, or hit Opt + Cmd + E
  2. To refresh, click the refresh button on the address bar or press Cmd + R
