You'll see something like the image below when you follow the steps in this how-to article
First, expand the Screen Options tab in the top right and select the checkbox for Google Analytics Dashboard. (If you don't see this checkbox, please let us know.)
Next, scroll down the Dashboard until you see the Google Analytics Dashboard widget, then drag it to the top of the Dashboard (or whatever location you would prefer):
